On December 25, 1996, one of the most monstrous and mysterious crimes of the 20th century occurred. On Christmas Eve, six-year-old Johnbenet Ramsey, the winner of numerous American beauty contests, was killed.
In the evening of December 25, Johnbenet returned home with her parents and brother from a Christmas party. At 22.00 the father laid the girl to sleep in her room. In the morning the mother went to wake her daughter, but the bed of Johnbenet was empty. On the stairs, the woman found a note in which it was written that the girl was kidnapped and for her release it is necessary to pay a ransom of 118 thousand dollars.
Parents called the police. When looking at the house was found a terrible find: in the basement lay the lifeless body of Johnbenet, wrapped in a blanket. The examination found that the girl was first struck with something heavy on the head, and then strangled.
The murder of Johnbenet has not yet been solved. For a long time, the members of the Ramsey family were under suspicion, and the police had every reason to suspect them. For example, during the handwriting examination, the mother of Johnbenet deliberately changed the handwriting for some reason. Parents claimed that before the bed, she was stripped of the girl and disbanded her hair, although Johnbenet was found in a festive dress and with braided hair. So they lied? But why?
In 2008, suspicions from parents were dropped after the DNA analysis revealed that the blood found on Johnbenet's clothes does not belong to any of the members of the Ramsey family. The investigators began to seriously consider the version that the killer was an extraneous person who had penetrated the house.
At the moment, the criminal was not found. In 2016, the US filmed the film "Who killed Johnbenet?" In it, the actress on behalf of the murdered girl says:

Mikaela MakArivi, finalist of the Irish beauty contest "Rose Tarley"
The 27-year-old Irish beauty queen was killed during her honeymoon on the island of Mauritius 12 days after her wedding.
Mikaela was a teacher of Gaelic and a finalist of the oldest Irish beauty contest "Rose Tarley". At the end of 2010, the girl married the athlete John McArivie. During the honeymoon, the newlyweds went to Mauritius. In the evening of January 10, they had dinner in the restaurant of their hotel. On suspicion of murder, employees of the hotel were detained.
