Where is the "Mountain Salanga"?
The complex is located almost equidistant from Kemerovo (350 km) and Krasnoyarsk (400 km), so from any city by car it will have to go 3.5 - 4.5 hours. But it is worth considering that the asphalt ends for 100 km to the goal, then - gravel.
The closest thing to the "Mountain Salang" is the town of Sharipovo (only 80 km), from where the bus goes to the ski resort (from November to May). From Krasnoyarsk to the station of Salang can be reached by train number 659, which goes daily to Abakan.
Weather in Gornaya Salanga
The ski season here is the period from November to early May. Since at this altitude the snow cover remains in good condition all this time. This is facilitated by low temperatures in the winter months (down to -30-35 ° C). In the spring it gets warmer, but the snow does not melt, so a large number of holidaymakers come in March and April, when the other ski resorts are already over the season.

In total for the descent there are 4 routes, of different levels of complexity (black, 2 red, blue) from 930 m to 1350 m in length, with a difference of 190 m between them.
