The Rondane National Park is a mountain plateau, the outlines of which have smooth lines, which indicates the glaciation present in the past. Currently there are no glaciers on the territory of Rondane, since in this part of Norway there is not enough rainfall for their growth.

Nature of Rondane

The territory of the park consists of mountains. Here they are more than a dozen, and the height of some peaks exceeds 2000 m. The highest peak of Rondane is Rondeslotto (2178 m).

The park is a habitat for deer, their number ranges from 2 to 4 thousand individuals. In addition to deer, in Rondan you can find roe deer, moose, wolverines, bears and other fauna.
