Their health and psyche are quite stable, but this breed is afraid of severe frosts. Kurzhaars easily catch cold. The nature of the breed kurtshaar is quite active. The dog runs well, loves to play with the host. With magnificent hunting qualities kurtshaaras rarely show aggression towards people, they are usually friendly and inquisitive only if it does not concern the safety of the owner.
