Queensland Performing Arts Center

The Queensland Performing Arts Center is the cultural heart of Brisbane . By the way, it was built on the site of the former Cremorn Theater, an open-air stage that accommodated 1,900 spectators.

What to see?

First of all, it is worth noting that The Queensland Performing Arts Center consists of several units, each of which symbolizes the versatility of creativity. In addition, here everyone will be able to find something of his own, special, something that touches deeply inside the string of the soul.

The first subsection is the lyric theater, which is the largest in the center of the arts. It is designed for 2500 admirers of high creativity. Musicians perform there, stage ballet performances, perform opera.

The second is a concert hall (1800 spectators). In this room there are world-famous orchestras, awards ceremonies, proms, and comedy performances. It is impossible not to mention the famous organ of Cla, consisting of 6878 tubes. It is installed in this branch of the Queensland Center.

And, finally, the Cremorn theater is a small room, in comparison with the two previous ones (up to 400 people). This theater, depending on necessity, is turned into a cinema, a round theater, a cabaret, an even area and even a concert hall.
