Carrying a baby is only half the difficult, exciting and difficult path of a future mother. Then follows a more serious moment, namely, the process of labor in women. If the pregnant woman does not yet have children, she can not even imagine how everything happens during childbirth. But if a woman knows in advance how the childbirth process goes, then it will be a little easier for her to cope with this when she is born. A detailed description of the process of giving birth gives an opportunity to tune in not only physically, but also morally.
How does the process of birth take place?
The generic process is divided into three periods:
- the period of the opening of the cervix (the uterus opens with an involuntary contraction of the smooth muscles);
- the period of the fetal exit from the uterine cavity (characterized by attempts that the woman is able to control herself);
- postpartum period (the placenta and membranes come out of the womb).
Periods of the birth of a child
So, let's figure out how the process of birth begins:
1. Usually birth begins suddenly. It is important to know that most often the process of birth triggers outflow of amniotic fluid, and sometimes there are fights immediately. When cramping spasms acquire a cyclic character, and are repeated regularly with a decrease in the interval in time, this is already a clear sign of the onset of labor.
This phenomenon helps the uterus shrink and open up to its neck for a normal exit of the baby from the birth canal. Disclosing of the uterus takes the largest period of time in the entire generic process, as a result of which the first birth in a woman can be delayed by 11 hours, and in the re-birth baby the baby is born within 6-7 hours after the first labor.
When the fights begin, the doctors recommend that the woman move more, breathe properly and even advise to take a warm bath or shower. Such actions help to reduce pain, in addition, all this acts as a means to accelerate the process of childbirth. At a time when the intervals between contractions are reduced to five minutes or less, this is a sign for moving from the prenatal ward to the delivery room.
2. In the second stage of childbirth a woman gets tired of severe pain during bouts, she is exhausted, fatigue accumulates and it is very difficult to control herself. But this stage does not last long, because as soon as the uterus has finally opened up, the doctor gives the command to push, and the mother gives the last effort to "blow out" the baby. The attempts should be correct: you do not need to strain the whole body, at that moment only the region of the birth canal works. This stage usually lasts about 15 minutes, but can drag on for a couple of hours. The baby moves closer to the vagina and after a few minutes shows the pole of the head, and very soon the baby completely leaves the outside, from which it becomes very easy for the mother. The baby is put on her stomach for a few minutes, and then taken away for bathing, dressing and examination by a pediatrician.
3. When the toddler has already "left", then after him from the birth canal should leave a generic hernia , which is usually carried out within 10-20 minutes.
After one and a half to two hours, Mom is transported to the ward, where she can calmly rest and be alone with her baby. The crumb can be attached to the chest 15 minutes after the birth, but not the fact that the baby after such a work done will want to wake up to eat.
