The legend of the temple of Pomos
During the Japanese War, King Munmu, ruling in those days, prayed for a week in this place with the monk. The ruler had a prophetic dream that this way he would be able to defeat the invaders. Then in the creek of Mount Kumjonsan , flowing here, from nowhere appeared a heavenly golden fish, and enemy troops were routed.
