To each of us the image of this good-natured and naive boy, created by Pope Carlo from a regular log, is familiar from childhood. As for practice, it's very simple to make a carnival costume for Buratino. To the image was complete, it is enough to put on a child a red shirt with large buttons and a white collar-shirt, bright shorts, boots and a cap. And, of course, a long nose! And the main accessory is the same golden key.

We will need:
- fabric of red or orange for tailoring;
- fabric for tailoring of shorts;
- White fabric for sewing a collar;
- cardboard;
- paints;
- elastic;
- button;
- white bubo.
- We will start sewing a Buratino costume, in which your child will be flaunting for the New Year, with the creation of appropriate patterns. In our example, the costume is designed for a child aged 4 to 6 years. If necessary, reduce or increase the pattern according to the size of your child.
- After making a pattern of the jacket, transfer it to the fabric, secure with pins, circle with chalk, leaving the allowances on the seams. Then cut out the details and sew them.
- Similarly, make both sleeves of the jacket by sewing them together.
- In the end, cut out the collar-shirt from the white fabric. Then sew both the details of the jacket, sleeves and collar. The jacket for the carnival costume is ready! It remains to decorate it with a large white button or decorative bubo.
- Sewing shorts for a suit is even easier. Having drawn on a paper a pattern of the appropriate size, cut it out and transfer it to the fabric. The color of the fabric can be anything. Then cut both the details of the shorts and sew them. Bend the top edge of the shorts by 2 centimeters and stitch, then insert the elastic. Shorties for the New Year's suit are ready!
Accessories for a costume Buratino
The most important accessory of this carnival costume is a long striped cap. If you can not find the finished one, you can do it yourself, which will not take long. Materials that are needed for this, there will always be in every home: dense cardboard, glue, gum, paint or fabric.
First, draw a cone on the thick cardboard sheet whose base length is equal to the length of the circumference of the child's head. Then cut out the cone. You can draw a strip of red and white on it. If you have a piece of fabric of the appropriate color, tighten the hood, and then glue it. At the bottom on both sides make holes and thread the rubber band in them so that during the matinee the cap is firmly held on the child's head.
In cartoon Pinocchio, disobedient locks that imitate wooden shavings are knocked out of the hood. They can be made using colored paper, cut into wide strips. Slightly twist them and glue them to the hood. The top of the hood is decorated with a bubo or a brush.
Making a golden key is even easier. Print a ready-made template on a sheet of cardboard, increasing it to the required size, and cut it out. You can treat the key with golden paint or wrap it with metallized paper. For the same purpose, foil can also be used.
The long nose of Pinocchio is glued from the paper, curling it with a narrow cone. Pass the rubber band near the base.
Wearing a child a plain raglan, a jacket, striped pantyhose, shorts, boots, a cap and a nose, putting into your hands a golden key and alphabet, you will create an original festive image of the famous wooden boy known all over the world!
