The national clothing of Scotland is unique and extraordinarily beautiful. It is presented in the form of a suit consisting of a kilt , a wide belt with a buckle, a sporran, a tweed jacket, a beret, a brugi, and also a Hose with a flush. The fabric from which the Scots make their costumes is called tartan. As a rule, an ornament from horizontal and vertical strips is applied to this matter. Each noble Scottish clan decorates its suit with a tartan of an individual specific color. Kilt must be worn in combination with a spore. It was for this element of the people's Scottish clothes that they were judged on their prosperity and social status. Rich Scots preferred to decorate it with expensive furs, metals or original ornaments. In winter, the Scots wear hosi - in our understanding ordinary gaiters, but very tight knit, they allow the Scottish men not to freeze in the kilts. Particular attention is paid to Scots shoe, or rather long laces, which are usually tied in several ways.

For sure, you have almost no idea of the women's national dress of the Scots. And it's no wonder, while any first-grader knows about the men's folk costume of this people, the women's outfit remained in the shadows, since it is completely unremarkable. And he looked like this:
