All film fans will unanimously tell you that it's better to watch movies in the cinema, and it's hard not to agree with them. A huge screen, high-quality image, enveloping a powerful sound - all this can not be replaced by simply watching TV on a Sunday evening. The only way for admirers of cinema is a cinema at home. And do not be surprised, because it's not so difficult and costly as you think, and we'll tell you how to properly create a cinema in your apartment.
How to make a movie theater at home?
Any movie theater starts with a projector. There are two main types of projectors: LCD - less bright, but sparing eyes, and DLP - featuring an unusual picture, but unfavorable for vision. The choice is made according to the prioritization and financial possibilities, since the first option is more expensive. When purchasing a projector, do not forget about its resolution: the standard resolution of 1280 × 720 is a universal option. Given that movies will be played from a computer, do not forget about the adapters!
If you often watch TV in everyday life, then the home theater will not serve as a substitute. In this case, it is better to replace the projector with an LCD TV with a large diagonal.
The era of silent cinema has long since passed, so after choosing the projector, we move on to selecting the audio component - the speakers. Audio systems for home theaters consist of 5 or 7 columns and a subwoofer. The correct arrangement of the columns is the key to creating a good cinema, so without sparing the walls we drill the holes for the fasteners: small columns are fixed to the corners of the room, the central one is above the projector, and the subwoofer is placed on the floor at any of the walls.
The last component is a screen, the quality of which directly affects the quality of the resulting image. Therefore, do not replace it with a sheet, or a curtain, spend on a good screen of the optimal size, taking into account the indents from the walls 20 cm on each side.
It remains to design our home theater in the apartment. We fix the projector on the ceiling with the help of special fasteners. All the wires, and there will be a lot of them, are hidden under the baseboard to protect themselves and equipment. The home theater of the house will correspond to the present, if it is properly darkened: buy blinds or light filters on the windows. And finally, do not forget to think about your neighbors and, if necessary, soundproof the room with gypsum board, or foam.
The room with the cinema can be no different from the usual living quarters, however, according to your own taste, you can design it as a real cinema: put several comfortable chairs, post advertising posters on the walls.
