Moisture resistant plaster

Modern moisture-resistant plaster is designed for finishing wet rooms, such as a bathroom or a shower room. The use of such material will remove the walls from the appearance of fungus or mold . Mixtures are presented on the basis of cement, gypsum or silicone. Moisture-proof plaster for the bathroom is not afraid of any load - from ordinary spray to water flows. The use of a moisture-resistant mortar can solve two problems: preparation for finishing facing with tiles or other materials; giving a finished surface with decorative compositions.

Characteristics of moisture-resistant decorative plaster

An important decorative quality of moisture resistant material is the ideal smoothness of the surface formed. The smooth layer after drying is ready for subsequent staining and decoration. Plaster with a water resistant compound hides the unevenness of the walls, defects, and creates on the surface the original reliefs in the desired color palette. At the last stage of finishing it can be covered with wax or varnish.

As fillers, wood, small pebbles, cotton fibers, mineral particles are used. They create on the finished surface the effect of embossed paper, stone, silk or metal. Currently, it is produced in two types - under a relief roller and grater.

Venetian plaster with a moisture-resistant effect has a specific protection, protecting it from water. The walls take the form of natural stone, granite or marble. Venetian plaster is applied in thin semitransparent layers. Due to this, the walls create an effect of depth and volume. The application technique allows to achieve a mirror gloss of the surface, which visually expands the space.

Decorative moisture resistant plaster provides ample opportunities for the embodiment of creative ideas. It combines practicality and originality, will surprise with its unusualness and will last a long time.
