- a feeling of heaviness in the abdomen, a pain that radiates into the groin;
- sudden abdominal enlargement in volume;
- development of dyspnea due to the fact that the diaphragm is located above the prescribed level;
- swelling of the feet;
- an increase in the number of heartbeats;
- the appearance of fluctuations, which is expressed in the appearance of the sound of a gurgling liquid.
As a rule, these symptoms appear gradually. Because of this, pregnant women do not always notice the deterioration of their condition,
What is dangerous polyhydramnios?
The main complication of this condition is premature birth. Due to the fact that the excess of the amniotic fluid exerts pressure on the uterus, the tonus of the myometrium increases, which can provoke the onset of the birth process.
Thus, such a violation as polyhydramnios during pregnancy, requires constant monitoring and surveillance.
