Linoleum PVC

Polyvinyl chloride linoleum, depending on the classification, has various technical characteristics. Classification is based on the main parameters determined by the following criteria:

Different kinds of PVC linoleum

The structure of PVC coating linoleum can be of two types: homogeneous (or single-layered) and heterogeneous, which can have from 2 to 6 layers, and reach a thickness of up to 6 mm. Homogeneous linoleum, being a single-layer, is nevertheless very practical, since the pattern applied to it is located throughout the thickness, it can be periodically updated by grinding.

Heterogeneous linoleum PVC, is more wear-resistant, due to the reinforced top layer in which polyurethane is added.

Linoleum PVC can be based on and baseless. Lineless linoleum consists of several layers, it has a rough surface and the best wear resistance, it can be used in rooms where there is an intensive load on the floor.

Linoleum on foamed basis has good flexibility, it is durable. If linoleum is selected on a jute basis, then they can be used only for finishing the floor in a room with low traffic, and where it is necessary to strengthen the thermal insulation.

Depending on its characteristics, PVC linoleum is divided into a household, commercial and specialized kind, and finds various applications.

Household PVC linoleum and semi-commercial are indispensable for apartments , interior decoration, they are soft, easy to install, have a wide variety of colors and patterns, are low in price.

The main characteristic of the commercial type of linoleum is its increased wear resistance, it is used in buildings and premises where high strength of the coating is required.

Special kind is developed under certain requirements to the premises: for sports halls, nuclear power plants.
