Lily from plastic spoons

A water lily or a white water lily is considered one of the most delicate flowers in the world. In legends and myths, it is given a special place as a plant endowed with magical power. However, only those who live near the banks of water bodies can enjoy the lively beauty of these flowers. And we propose to make a lily - an odd job from plastic disposable spoons , which are in every house, and there are pennies.

We will need:

  1. Cut from the plastic bottle of green color in the form of a flower cup. It is not difficult to do this, because it is at the places of the cut that the plastic is thin. The resulting billet should be lightly fused with a cigarette lighter or candle flame, so that the edges of the petals of the cup acquire volume and waviness.
  2. All the disposable spoons (both table and tea) are melted in the same way. Take care that the plastic is not covered with soot and do not deform too much, otherwise our petals will turn disheveled. After the fire is finished, all the spoons have to be broken off so that the crack does not damage the resulting petal. The five lower petals are attached with glue or liquid nails to the green plastic base.
  3. Next row after row carefully overlay the next petals, shifting them so that they go to each other. Each subsequent layer of plastic petals (and they will be four) glue closer to the core, so that the flower was bulky.
  4. The core of the lily is formed from the tea melted spoons, gluing them overlap in a circle. Greater similarity with a real water lily will give stamens, which are cut from a yellow cocktail tube. Now you also know how easy it is to make a lily from ordinary disposable spoons in just twenty minutes, which can be decorated with a decorative or natural pond in the country.
