Liechtenstein - visa

Liechtenstein is a small state, but the rules and laws in it are the most European ones. And, despite the fact that the principality does not belong to the European Union, it once signed the Schengen Agreement. This means that all Russians wishing to visit this small and unique country of Liechtenstein need a Schengen visa.

What visas are in Liechtenstein?

In the Principality of Liechtenstein, several types of visas are issued:

• type A and type B - types of transit visa;
• type C - short-term visa, most often issued;
• type D - national visa.

Based on the purposes of your trip, visas are issued by tourist, business and guest, as well as single (one trip) and multiple (the number of trips is unlimited) for the specified period, and the guest visa is issued once.

Where to apply?

A pleasant bonus is the fact of multiple agreements with Switzerland, according to which a visa for visiting Liechtenstein can be issued in any Swiss office:

• the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow, the visa department, with the permission of the principality;
• Consulate general in St. Petersburg, with the permission of the principality.

Also, any Swiss visa center in Russia will accept your true documents for registration.

What documents are needed for a visa?

The most popular visa is a tourist visa (short-term, type C), to obtain it you need to collect the next stack of documents and submit all documents at the same time not later than 3 months before the proposed trip:

1. Your passport and at least two blank sheets in it, and, the validity of your passport at the end of your journey to the Principality of Liechtenstein must be at least a quarter.
2. A qualitative copy of the last two Schengen visas that you have ever received (if received).
3. A qualitative copy of the first turn of your passport, where the photograph.
4. A form that you must fill out completely in any language to choose from: English, German, Italian or French.
5. Two official fresh clear color photos on a light background without any accessories on the face and head size 3.5x4.5 cm without corners, frames, etc., one of which is attached to your profile.
6. Qualitative copies of your tickets for a train or an airplane, necessarily round-trip, an open date is not considered.
7. For the duration of your journey through the Schengen zone, you must have a valid medical insurance with a minimum coverage of € 30,000. When submitting documents, you will be asked to photocopy it.
8. You must provide any confirmation of your reservation for a hotel or rented apartment / house with your details and payment / partial prepayment, as well as the full address where you plan to stay.
9. Official reference from work with the stamp and the signature of the head of the organization, which confirms your position, experience, salary, the status of the vacationer and a guarantee that you are a full-fledged employee and you are listed on return for your workplace.
10. If you are an individual entrepreneur or an employee of an emergency, you will be asked to copy copies of the TIN and OGRN of the enterprise;
11. If you are a student, you will need an official certificate from the place of study with all contacts of the school, a copy of the student card (if the student), a birth certificate, and a letter of income from your sponsor. Pensioners must provide a copy of their pension certificate.
12. Your planned itinerary in Liechtenstein in English, German, Italian or French.
13. If, since September 15, 2015, you have never received a Schengen visa, you will need to make your fingerprints for the design of the biometric schengen.
14. Confirm your financial stability from the calculation of the minimum daily expenditure of 100 Swiss francs. For example, bank statements that indicate the status of your account, it is desirable and turnover for the last quarter. Type of currency is not important.

Documents for the motorist

Many tourists prefer not to use the services of public transport , and travel by car, in which case, in addition to the consul, you must provide:

• a copy of your international driving license;
• quality copy of the STS;

Do not be surprised if you are asked for more documents or invited to a personal meeting.

Documents for the guest visa

When registering a guest visa, in addition to these documents, you must additionally provide:

1. Data about your host country - the original invitation, in which there are no problems:

• full details of your passport;
• the nature of your relationship with the inviting party;
• outlined terms of stay at a party.

And, of course, you will be asked to sign a commitment to comply with the visa regime.

Other information on obtaining a visa

1. The time limit for reviewing your visa documents for a trip to Liechtenstein is 3-5 working days after the payment of the consular fee of € 35. If you make out through the visa center - another 1480 rubles and a service fee of € 23. Payment is charged on the spot at the official rate. The duty does not need to be paid for children under 6 years old and children under 16 who are inscribed in the parent's passport. Service centers need an additional 2-3 working days to forward documents.
2. You get a tourist visa for up to 90 days for a stay in Liechtenstein. If you received a double or multiple entry visa, the days of stay are considered within 6 months from the first crossing of the principality boundary.

A national visa is issued for a period of more than 90 days.
