In standard kitchens, and even more small-sized, such islands are not often met. But in private homes, where you can afford to take the area under the kitchen a little more, the kitchen table of the island may well become a functional and original addition to the kitchen set.
What is an island kitchen table?
If you prefer a non-standard layout of furniture and layout in general, then you certainly should like the idea of turning food and cooking into a real spectacle. Imagine that you will cook without standing with your back to your household, but just before their eyes, and even in the middle of the kitchen?

So, with the size we figured out, it's time to stop directly on the models of the island itself. The most common option is the island as a chest of drawers. This is an ideal space for storing utensils, small appliances or stocks of products like cereals. Usually such island dressers are combined with an additional area for cooking. Equally often island furniture is found both in modern and classical kitchen designs, and the kitchen island itself becomes a favorite place of household in the mornings for a cup of coffee.
