Kate Middleton visited the HMP Eastwood Prison and the Women's Aid Center

The schedule of the Duchess of Cambridge is simply amazing with its versatility. It can be seen not only on trips and travel to other countries, walks with children, social gatherings and charitable events, but also in very serious organizations.

Visit to the prison and the Women's Aid Center

Friday morning at Kate Middleton began with a trip to the city of Gloucester. There is a women's prison HMP Eastwood, as well as a center for assistance to women, who were subjected to domestic violence and faced difficult situations in their lives. By the way, this is not the first trip of the duchess to the women's prison. That year, Kate also visited her and communicated with the prisoners. This year, Middleton only talked with the workers of the institution. As the women described, the psychological conditions of the inmates' detention have improved significantly: they are given the opportunity to undergo rehabilitation, communicate with a psychologist and take part in the program for adapting prisoners to normal life after they leave prison.

After that, Middleton went to the center of psychological support and help Nelson Trust Women's Center. According to many Britons, this organization is one of the best in the UK to help women. At this meeting Kate spoke not only with the organization's head John Trolan and his colleagues, but also with those who receive help. One of the most vivid and memorable meetings was the acquaintance with 4-month-old Gabriel and his mother. During the conversation, the moments of psychological help to the little boy's mother were touched upon. With the staff of the Nelson Trust Women's Center, the duchess discussed the ways in which their center helps to reduce the level of female crime, and what programs the center uses for psychological support to the victims.
