Inverter heaters

With the approach of cold weather, many people are thinking about how to make their homes as warm and comfortable as possible. In multi-unit buildings, this important function is usually performed by central heating batteries, and in the private sector - by independent heating boilers. Also there are many different auxiliary devices, from oil heaters to modern convectors . And one of the new types of heaters, which have appeared on sale relatively recently and have already won the respect of consumers, are the so-called inverter devices. So, what are they?

The principle of operation of inverter heaters is based on converting the AC power supply into a constant one, at which the frequency and voltage change. Built-in inverter or periodic voltage generator) makes heating appliances more efficient, economical and, importantly, noiseless.

Varieties of inverter heaters for home

There are the following types of inverter heaters:

  1. Electric inverter heater - works from the mains, which is often more convenient for users. Electric inverter heaters are infrared. They differ from the usual ones in that, thanks to the presence of an infrared radiator, they heat not the air, like traditional appliances, but objects around themselves (floor and walls, furniture, etc.) that subsequently give this heat to the surrounding space. We can say that an infrared heater is a directional device, since only those objects that fall into the zone of its infrared rays are heated. The inverter heater of the infrared type is used not only indoors, but even outdoors, for heating a 6-10 m diameter space.
  2. Air conditioners equipped with a heat pump are also, in fact, inverter heaters. Due to the pressure drop, Freon circulating between the two units of the air conditioner condenses, that is, it transforms from liquid to gaseous. Inverter devices have variable cooling and heating power, since they convert the alternating supply voltage into a constant one, which leads to a gradual change in the frequency of the device. Thus, the temperature at the input and output from the indoor unit of the inverter air conditioner is regulated. As you can see, the principle of operation of this heater is simple and at the same time environmentally friendly, there is no process of burning fuel, and accordingly no harmful selections.

Advantages and disadvantages of inverter heaters

Each device has its own small disadvantages, which should be taken into account when buying. After all, like any goods, heaters of inverter type have drawbacks. The most important of them is a high price, which distinguishes these devices from other types of heaters (oil coolers, gas convectors, etc.). In addition, inverter air conditioners are devices that are sensitive to voltage drops. As for the advantages, the inverter heater is characterized by:
