How to make a tank of matches?

How to make a tank of matches?

In the process of work you will need: matches, a button or a coin, a stationery knife.

First, you need to prepare the cubes from which the tank will be assembled:

1. Put 2 matches in front of each other in front of each other. The distance between them should be slightly less than the length of the match itself.
2. Top eight other matches perpendicularly. In this case, the last matches of the second row should form a square with two matches of the first row. Make sure that matches lie flat and there is a short distance between them. The edges of matches should stick out a little. On the same principle, lay another 8 matches perpendicular to the second row.
3. Now you need to make the walls. To do this, lay out a "well" of 7 rows, with the heads of matches to be laid out in a circle. At the top of the cube's walls place 8 matches (as was done at the beginning of the work), pointing the heads in the opposite direction from the bottom row.
4. Perpendicular to these matches, lay out a row of 6 matches and press the article on top with a coin. While holding the coin with your finger, insert the matches along the perimeter of the cube along the walls with the head upwards. Take out the coin and gently squeeze the cube from all sides.
5. Turn the die over. The square of the match heads is the bottom of the cube.
6. To strengthen, build a vertical row of matches from the 4 sides with the heads facing upwards. Follow the horizontal layer of matches, and the heads should go in a circle.

One die is ready. Such cubes need eight pieces. Now from 4 cubes it is necessary to make 4 small houses:

1. Make the roof: first insert the missing corner matches and slightly pull up the vertical matches of the walls, imitating the roof.
2. Perpendicular to the top layer lay out matches, alternating the head with the ends of matches. Begin to spread from the edges - first by 2, then by 4, then by 6, and in two middle rows - by 8 matches. Finish the roof by laying over the inclined matches by crossing their heads.

Finally, proceed to the last stage of our crafts of matches - the assembly of the tank:

1. At the base of one house, insert four matches without heads and connect them to a simple cube. On the same principle, on the other side of the cube, attach another house. You should get a caterpillar for the tank. Similarly make a second caterpillar.
2. In one free cube from two sides, insert four matches without heads. Fasten it between the central cubes of the two tracks.
3. On the remaining cube, build a saddle roof, where the inclined matches cover the entire cube.
4. On the reverse side of the cube, build from the matches a ladder, as in the photo. You got the tower of the tank.
5. From the bottom of the cube, insert four matches without a head and connect to the central cube that connects the two caterpillars.
6. Make a muzzle of the tank.

Voilà! You have made a universal tank of matches with your own hands and, as you can see, it is not very difficult to do it!
