Care for British kittens - food

The British are almost omnivorous, which greatly simplifies the lives of their owners. If you feed the British kitten with natural food, give preference to beef, beef or pork heart, chicken peeled stomachs, liver, chicken, sea fish. If possible, exclude fish from the diet, t. it promotes the development of urolithiasis in cats, also gives the urine a sharp odor.

Kittens should not be given milk, otherwise they will come across a liquid stool. Only goat's milk and 10% cream in its composition are closer to cat milk, and are perfectly absorbed by the kitten's body. In feeding, you can successfully use a variety of cereals: semolina, oatmeal, rice. You can offer the kitten a cottage cheese, also they sometimes like yoghurts.

To correct bowel function, use the liver. If you use it raw, it weakens, and after treatment - strengthens. Do not give the kittens smoked, very fatty, sharp foods (ham, bacon, raw fish).

Care for British kittens - vaccinations

Do not forget about vaccinations, even if you do not plan to release a kitten from home, because dirt can be brought in and out of the street. Kittens are vaccinated in the age of 2 to 3 months or after a change of teeth.

The first inoculation can be done 10 days after taking an anthelmintic drug (drontal, prazitsid or another). You can give the drug in the form of tablets or syrup. If helminths are not found in the feces of the kitten during the prolisting, bravely vaccinate. And if the worms are, after 10 days, give the drug again. Then wait another 10 days and go to the inoculation .

The first vaccination against infectious diseases (trivalent without rabies) is done when the kitten is 10-12 weeks, and repeated, with the same vaccine - after 21 days. After the second vaccination, quarantine is maintained for 10-14 days. During this time, the kitten develops immunity.

Vaccination against rabies is done separately. If the kitten does not have contact with other animals, it will not catch mice and rats, it is best to vaccinate rabies after changing teeth. Repeated vaccinations are repeated yearly.
