- accumulator glue gun.
How to choose a glue gun?
The main differences between models of glue guns are the power and diameter of the rods. As a rule, two sizes are encountered: 7 and 11 mm, but variations are also possible. Large and powerful pistols are usually used by men, finding their use in repair. Women and children will be approached by less powerful, compact models, more convenient to use. Also vary and the prices for them. But in this case, remember that an expensive gun is not necessarily the best.

- Availability of a non-return valve. It is necessary to ensure that the glue does not flow freely from the nozzle after you have stopped squeezing it. The valve should be sufficiently tight, otherwise there is a risk that the vertical position of the glue will flow and will fill not only the material with which you work, but also the trigger and the contacts of the mechanism.
- The window of the rod feeder must be wide enough so that you can get two fingers out of it, not completely used the glue rod, if you need to replace it.
- Nozzles. For needlework, glue guns with interchangeable nozzles are suitable - for the convenience of applying glue on large surfaces, and also when working with small parts.
How to use a glue gun?
Operation of the thermo-gun is carried out in several stages:
- Insert the glue rod into a special hole located in the back of the case.
- Place the appliance on a stand and plug it into an outlet.
- After 5-10 minutes it will heat up and glue will begin to drip from the nozzle (this is inevitable even in the most expensive models). This indicates that the gun is ready for use.
- We begin to use, adjusting the volume of the extracted adhesive by pulling the trigger.
It should be remembered that the leaky glue is very hot, so in no case should you touch it with your hands. The glue freezes almost instantly, so after applying it on one surface, you should quickly press it against the other.
