Characteristics of the breed French Bulldog

The French Bulldog breed standard defines a dog as an animal that should fit in the parameters by weight not more than 14 kg for boys and 13 kg for girls, without exceeding the height of 35 cm. A sturdy and slightly rough little bulldog with its shape visually fits into the square, without losing any appeal. The coat color of a thoroughbred French bulldog is allowed to have a fawn of any shade, or similar with tigroviny and a limited number of white spots.

The dog has a short muzzle, erect ears and a very intelligent look that, together with a muscular body, gives it a brave and serious look.

Initially created for entertainment for many years, the bulldog did not lose its purpose. He quickly takes his place in the family and becomes a favorite for both adults and children. The character of the French bulldog is calm, he easily gets along with other animals. The inherent laziness is easily replaced by activity, if it is desired by someone from the family. The pet is distinguished by attachment to the owner and painfully tolerates a lack of attention to his person. Therefore, too active and busy people should not start a dog breed French bulldog.

Nature does not pamper these animals with a lifetime. Therefore, in order to delay the behavior inherent in advanced age, it is necessary to treat scrupulously the conditions of their content.

Despite some shortcomings of the French bulldog breed, which is often emphasized in its description (propensity to obesity, snoring, allergy, sensitivity to cold, etc.), the dog is unlikely to go unnoticed when choosing a companion.
