Treatment in the presence of foreign bodies in the nose
Adequate measures to remove the object from the nasal cavity can be performed only by an otolaryngologist.
The easiest way to get a foreign body, if it is small, is to drip the vasoconstrictor solution and blow your nose.
In severe cases, an operation is required to extract a foreign body in the sinus of the nose. Under a local anesthetic, an obtuse hook is inserted behind the object and advanced along the bottom of the nasal cavity. Non-circular bodies can be obtained with tweezers or forceps.
