Festival "Moscow Autumn"

This year from September 4 to October 11, Moscow hosted the Moscow Autumn Festival. At this time in the city opened 36 sites, which operate agricultural fairs. Both Russian farmers and their colleagues from Kazakhstan , Belarus and Armenia brought their products here.

In the center of the capital of Russia for the opening of the festival "Moscow Autumn" 11 chalets were developed, which were decorated in the same style. Muscovites and guests of the capital, who visited the festival, made a real gastronomic trip, as well as they could try and buy the products they liked.

Where does the Moscow Autumn Festival take place?

All the sites located in the center of Moscow had their own theme. So, at the Manege Square was the "Royal Feast". Here at the head of a twenty-meter table with the decorations of the royal feast a huge throne was established.

For people of the older generation, I liked the "Soviet lunch", which took place on the Revolution Square. The dishes here were prepared according to all the requirements of GOST of those times. Decorations helped to move in the Soviet era: slides of cans condensed milk, scores with knuckles, scales with kettlebells.

The "Capital Breakfast" could be reached at the Kuznetsky Most, where on every tent there was a clock showing the time of breakfast.

On Pushkin Square was organized "Literary Lunch", where you could taste your favorite dish of Hemingway or taste what the Megre was eating for lunch. In the Novopushkinsky park passed "Children's snack". All delicious and natural products were prepared especially for children.

On the Theater Square was opened "Buffet" with the appropriate name, and on Tverskoy Boulevard there was a "Village Feast" with farmers' cheeses and fresh pastries. Real master classes for baking bread and bakery products according to old recipes were held here. The guests were treated to a specialty drink of the festival called "Harvest Aperitif".

On the Arbat, those who wished could taste the "National Dinner", and the "Moscow Tea Party" was waiting for them in Klimentovsky Lane.

In addition to various treats, the visitors of the Moscow Autumn Festival were presented with a rich entertainment program. It was possible to visit fascinating theatrical performances and various fun contests worthy of the Guinness Book of Records. For example, competitions were held on eating buns, and even the world championship on eating tomatoes.
