Dressing gown

At first glance it may seem that the words "dress" and "robe" are absolutely incompatible: how can there be such a refined, feminine, sweet thing, like a dress, to be like a robe that we in usual sense associate with domestic affairs?

It turns out that maybe, and, apparently this is the art of fashion, to combine not combined so successfully that it was both comfortable and beautiful.

The history of dress-gown with smell

For the first time the idea of dress-gown was realized by Diana von Furstenberg. She worked as a fashion designer in France and America, and her first clothing line the world saw in the 1970s. America and France are not just different countries, they are, first of all, different cultures and mentality. And certainly not without reason here can draw a parallel: the model created by Diana combines the refinement, romanticism, which are typical of French women, as well as practicality, which is preferred in American clothes. So, we can say, in the legendary gown dress, two different cultures met, two different outlooks and lifestyles.

First, the idea of dress-gowns was not very well received - for 5 years of sales, women bought only 5 million dresses. But in 1997 everything changed, and this universal model was recognized by society: women felt how comfortable and stylish it was.

Models of dress-gown

If at first the dress-gown was exclusively with a smell, and its length reached the knees, now it has found a variety of shapes and styles: it can be buttoned and buttoned, and zipped, and, of course, with a smell. The length of the dress also varies - from mini and ending with maxi, popular today's skirt to the floor. Colors and materials depend on the style and model.

  1. Dress-robe on the buttons. Dress-robe with buttons is a practical thing of style casual. Such a dress can have safari elements - have a lot of pockets with a zipper and buttons, and in this case, it is a bit away from the feminine and romantic image. As a rule, it is made of dense fabric and is great for early, sunny autumn. The jeans dress-robe on the buttons also looks bold enough and nice, if you combine it with a scarf and hat. Also interesting are tight knit models on the buttons. They show a note of coziness and comfort - pockets on the sides, a long sleeve, round bright buttons remotely reminiscent of the nature of this dress - a dressing gown, but at the same time, thanks to this, it looks simple, and the style gives comfort.
  2. Dress-gown with a smell. This is a classic version of dress-gown suitable for both full women and for thin. Its length can be different, ranging from mini and ending with maxi. Not surprisingly, this classic model is the most universal among all similar styles. To emphasize the severity of the style, it can have a collar. A summer dress-gown with a smell is made of light, flowing materials, while models for the cold season tend to be sewn from knitwear, which keeps the shape perfectly and at the same time keeps the heat.
  3. Long dress-robe. This gown dress in the floor deserves special attention, because it can become a cocktail dress. For example, a long flared skirt, combined with a wide belt and a deep V-neck, creates an elegant image with a hint of chic, especially if you add massive earrings and a clutch bracelet.

With what to wear a dress robe?

Dress-robe can be combined with a jacket made of fabric, combined with a dress. Variety in the image will be made by small scarves tied around the neck in the French style. In this case, the model will look more like a refined dress and have fewer features of a robe.

Shoes - the basic footwear, which is combined with dress-gown. If the dress is in the style of a safari or of a denim fabric, then you can sandals to it.

The dress-gown looks good with neat elegant bags, which are made in a laconic style.

To the cocktail dress-gown you can shine bright sandals, and also wear unusual original ornaments that, on the background of a simple cut, will look even more original and brighter.
