A nice smiling grandmother, a cranberry with fresh milk, a fluffy cat on a window with homespun curtains, trips with grandfather to haymaking. But there is little else that draws imagination, impressions and memories can not be counted. Oh, how sad that I can not return my childhood. Yes, the children's years have left irrevocably, but here the interior in a rustic style can be easily created even in a city apartment, it is necessary to fantasize a little.
Design of a rustic house in the jungle of a megacity
First, let's close our eyes and imagine the very village house, the interior of which we want to recreate. Of course, for each of us he will be his own, unique, unlike any other, and this is wonderful. But, I think, many details of the situation and everyday objects are inherent in rural life, regardless of place and time. Here it is worthwhile to pay attention to them.
So, the design of any dwelling in a rustic style has always had the following characteristic features. First, all things and furniture, dishes, ornaments were simple and practical. Secondly, the interior of the village house is only natural natural materials. If the table and chairs, then a real tree. If the wicker chairs and sofas, then from the willow or rattan. If the tablecloth or curtains, then only in the rustic style, that is, linen or cotton. And thirdly, the color scheme. The country style, even in the urban interior, implies complete harmony with nature. So, it is preferable to use natural natural colors that do not cause irritation and fatigue. As this is a place for sleeping and rest, there must necessarily be a wide, better wooden bed with carved or forged backs, with a mountain of disagreeable pillows, a real feather bed, and linen or cotton fabrics. Colors for wallpaper, curtains, bedspreads and capes are best to choose a calm, with a small and discreet drawing. From the furniture, a chest of drawers, a massive chest, or a pot-bellied cupboard under the antiquity is perfect. A floor near the bed can be varied with rugs, imitating the skin of a sheep.
