Cortaderia silvery - planting and care

Cortaderia, or pampas grass, refers to those amazing plants for which absolutely neither the type of soil on the site, nor the depth of the water, nor its shading is important. One can be sure that the cortader will perfectly take root both on fertile soils and on rocky abandoned sites. Like all reeds, namely, this species includes pampas grass, the cortaderia responds well to copious watering, but a prolonged drought will not be destructive for it. The only thing that the cortader is afraid of is winter frosts. Therefore, it is possible to grow it as perennial in the open ground only in regions with mild climate, in others it will simply freeze in winter. Alternatively, you can land the cotaderie in special vases and expose it to the open air in summer so that, with the onset of autumn, you can transfer it to any non-freezing room. You can multiply the cortaderia in two ways: by dividing rhizome or seeds.
