Description

The skyscraper is located in the very center of the capital on a legendary place, where the old market used to be . Underground parking is located. The building is serviced by 13 high-speed elevators, which from the lower floor to the top are delivered in less than 5 minutes.

The skyscraper belongs to the World Trade Center complex in Abu Dhabi, which includes two more buildings. The tenants of the tower and its visitors have direct access to them. One tower is a hotel, and the other is an office center.

Architecture

The construction of the tower began in 2008 and lasted for 6 years. The complexity of the project was that the architects had to create a state-of-the-art skyscraper, taking into account the climatic conditions of Abu Dhabi, namely the winds that can bring sand up to the upper floors, and scorching sun rays.

The architectural style for Burj-Mohamed-bin Rashid was chosen postmodernism. The predominantly reflective surface creates a mirage effect, which is very symbolic, because most of the UAE is a desert.

How to get there?

You can reach the tower by taxi or public transport . The nearest bus stop is 850 meters from the skyscraper, it is called Al Ittihad Square Bus Stand, and through it all the buses of the city pass.
