Actress and model Emily O'Hara Ratjakovski was born on June 7, 1991 in the English capital of London. She grew up in a small town called Encinitas, San Diego District, USA.
Early years and early career
Judging by the biography, Emily Ratjakovski's parents did not want the girl to be a model, so before the age of 14, Emily did not know anything about the model business . Since her mother is a writer, and her father is an artist, Emily Ratjakovski began to take a great interest in art, theater, ballet, tried herself in acting.
In 2004, she entered college in Los Angeles, but a year later she dropped out of training in favor of model business. She managed to sign a contract with the famous Ford Models agency. At that time, Emily was 14 years old. She posed for fashion brands Forever 21, Nordstrom. She worked with famous photographers Tony Durand and Tony Kelly.

A real breakthrough in her career was the participation in the shootings of the clip for Robin Tick, for the song Blurred Lines. The effect was so great that the video collected more than 256 million views on the YouTube channel. As it turned out later, the model initially refused to shoot, but after agreeing all the moments with the director of the video and making sure that they would not bring any harm to their career, she agreed.
Although acting for Emily is just a hobby, she does not refuse to be invited to do movies. The last were her works in the film "Disappeared", where she played a dissolute student, but in the film "We Are Your Friends", the actress won the main female role.
