Although for fans of secluded rest, this can be an advantage. Be that as it may, there are a lot of beaches in Cambodia, and everyone will find there something suitable for themselves.

Beaches of Sihanoukville

It is believed that some of the best beaches in Cambodia are located in the province of Sihanoukville . Let's consider some of them:

1. Independence . Its name was given to this place thanks to the hotel, built nearby in the 1960s. This beach, a length of two kilometers, is considered almost the cleanest on the peninsula and certainly the most well-groomed. For this, by the way, I must say thank you to the already mentioned hotel. In the season there are many tourists and local residents.
2. Ocheutheal . The name of the most popular and large beach in Cambodia is Ochheuteal. For simplicity, it is called Ochutel. It is located in the city of Sihanoukville. Perhaps, he is everything else, and the most comfortable beach. There are several hotels, restaurants, bars and grocery stores on its territory. At the same time there is quite quiet and there is no noise that can make your vacation uncomfortable. There is always something to eat: seafood and vegetables, grilled, refreshing drinks. You can not leave the beach all day. Swim in the territory of the Ochutel need to be neat. It seems that the sea is calm, but often this is only the first deceptive impression. 4. Sokha . Beach Sokha is owned by the five-star hotel Sokha Beach Resort and, accordingly, named in his honor. Its length is 1500 meters. Most of this beach can only be used by hotel guests. For other tourists, an area of ​​100 meters is reserved where they can soak up the sun.
5. Victoria . Another beach in Cambodia is called Victoria. It is located on the outskirts of the peninsula, in the immediate vicinity of the port. Here you can rent a boat and go to the nearby islands.
6. Otres . Beach Otres was removed from Sihanoukville for five kilometers and the benefits of civilization there have not yet reached, as, in general, and crowds of tourists. Beaches on the islands of Cambodia

3. Koh-Thmey Island . On this island is the eponymous beach. Almost the whole territory of the island is covered with pine and mangrove groves that fill the trills of tropical birds. The beach of Koh-Thme is rather narrow, which means it is perfect for those who like to relax under the diffused rays of the sun in the shade of trees. 4. Lazy beach . The name of this beach speaks for itself. On Lazy Beach you can spend a relaxing holiday: lie on the beach, swim, dive in specially designated areas. After all this, you can go to a cozy comfortable bungalow or spend an evening for a romantic dinner in one of the nearby restaurants.
