History of the museum
Since 1970, archaeological excavations have been conducted in Sharjah. At that time, the emirate was under the control of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad al-Qasimi, who attached great importance to science and culture and expressed the desire that all the exhibits found in the excavation should be placed in a specially designed room, and everyone could look at them. So there was an idea to open the Archaeological Museum in Sharjah, which was embodied in 1997. - Exposition of finds of the Bronze Age (3-1,3 thousand years BC). The exhibition is devoted to a story about ancient settlements in these parts, the beginning of production and the use of bronze in life. The documentary tells the audience about the manufacture of dishes, jewelry, processing of metal and rocks by the inhabitants of that time.
- Hall exhibits of the Iron Age (1300-300 BC.). In the place of the hall of the museum we will talk about oases. The supplement is a cognitive film about the life and life of society.
