Wash hair with soda

Soda (baking soda, baking soda, sodium bicarbonate) is an acidic salt of carbonic acid, which contributes to the dissolution and removal of fats. Due to this, it can be used as a substitute for shampoo for washing your head.

Benefit and harm of washing hair with soda

The effectiveness of washing the hair with soda is almost inferior to shampoos , although it may not be so convenient, because soda does not foam, although it creates a soapy sensation, and also is washed off from hair in comparison with shampoos.

On the one hand, soda has an exclusively cleansing effect compared to shampoos, which can be specialized, designed for a particular type of hair, etc. On the other hand, soda does not contain dyes, lauryl sulfates and other additives, the content of which in shampoos is ambiguous. Soda very effectively removes not only fats and dirt, but also applied to hair gels and lacquers, even super-strong fixation. In addition, due to its pronounced cleansing effect, it is able to reduce irritation on the skin, and even the amount of dandruff.

But, despite the relatively mild effect, its frequent use can overdry the hair and scalp. However, we must remember that soda contributes to the removal of not only fats, but also has a scarf effect, so when washing laminated colored hair or after a chemical wave, the effect of these procedures is significantly reduced.
