Wall decoration panels

With the help of wall panels, we can successfully change the interior of your home. Their installation does not require special preparation of the surface, therefore the installation works are carried out easily and quickly, and are cheaper in comparison with the usual construction work for us. The use of new technologies in production makes the material for panels more durable and resistant to changes in temperature, moisture and physical stress.

Decorative wall panels - types

By the size of the panel there are laths in the form of fairly long boards, set square and leaf. They differ and the material from which they are made.

Plates from wood fibers (DVP) are light and not very dense. They are resistant to moisture, but do not mount them in places where there is a direct hit.

Particleboard (chipboard) is recommended only for dry rooms. They are not very strong, very sensitive to moisture and sudden changes in temperature.

Similar to chipboard from hardboard . Since the finishing of such plates is made only on one side, they are not used very often.

MDF wall panels are the most popular for walls, as this material is soundproof and quite durable. It is often used as a heat-insulating material. Increased resistance to moisture allows you to mount the finishing panels in the kitchen and use them for the bathroom.

Expensive, but the most environmentally friendly and beautiful are the panels of solid wood. They are ideal for finishing a house in a classic style or Art Nouveau style. The market has three-layer panels of solid wood.

The most acceptable in the price-quality ratio are the PVC panels . The only drawback of this material is the instability to mechanical loads. The panels are many years old and have good performance characteristics.

A bright novelty in the market was the appearance of 3D wall panels with a three-layer structure of the material. Its basis is MDF, gypsum with reinforcing mesh or other materials. The panels are decorated with walls, ceiling and even furniture.

Finishing profiles that are used for PVC panels are easy to use and not inferior to aluminum in strength. For example, as a finish for the edge, the starting profile is used. And for the joint of the panels in the corners, special angular profiles are used.
