Thermal water for face

Thermal water appeared on the shelves of pharmacies not so long ago, and still raises a lot of questions among the beautiful half of humanity.

What is the use of thermal water for the face?

The main function of thermal water is moisturizing the skin. But this does not mean that thermal water is suitable only for women with dry skin. Moistening is necessary for both oily and normal skin. Humidified skin resists better the negative effects of the environment and more easily tolerates stress.

Sometimes thermal water is called a natural tonic for the skin. The word thermal means "warm", and indicates the origin of thermal water from warm natural sources.

Properties of thermal water:

The latter property was a serious reason for using thermal water in cosmetology. As is known, the problem of many creams, even saturated with vitamins and trace elements, is that the cream is not able to penetrate into deep layers of the skin and acts on the surface. Cosmetics on thermal water are most effective due to the ability of water to serve as a conductor of essential nutrients for the skin in the deepest layers.

Composition of thermal water

The composition can be different, and it depends on the location of the water source.

  1. The source of St. Luke in France gives thermal water, rich in sodium, bicarbonates, calcium, potassium, magnesium.
  2. The source of Ra Rosh-Posay, also French, gives selenium-rich water, and Aven-bicarbonates and sulphates.
  3. Czech thermal waters are famous for the fact that they contain a lot of sodium, calcium, manganese. But in the Czech Republic there are also geyser springs, from which water is obtained, rich in carbonate.

How to use thermal water?

Water should be sprayed on the skin from a distance of 30 cm.

The use of water in the morning after the shower will help the skin to cheer up and normalize the salt balance. After that, you can do a light facial massage and apply a cream.

Fatigue at work affects the skin as well, so during the day the skin may lose its tone. Thermal water in the daytime will help restore the skin a fresh look and a feeling of moisturizing, which is especially important in office air, passed through air conditioners and split systems.

It is believed that after 17:00 the skin better absorbs all cosmetic procedures, so it is after work that the effect of thermal water will have the most beneficial effect on the skin condition.

Also this remedy can be used instead of tonic and added to masks and cream.

Can I get thermal water at home?

Unfortunately, this is absolutely impossible. To reproduce all the processes taking place with water at great depths, under the influence of hot springs, to repeat the natural enrichment of water with minerals under high temperatures and its gradual cooling as it emerges to the surface at home is not possible.
