The Oceanarium in Eilat

Each Israeli city has its own sights and unique places. For example, the city of Eilat is proud of its unique oceanarium. Its design once again convinces us of the practicality of the Israelis. What is the aquarium? Glassware, in which fish swim, and people walk around and look at them. In the Eilat oceanarium, on the contrary, a large glass aquarium was built around people.

What is interesting about the aquarium?

The oceanarium in Eilat is also often called an underwater observatory. The place evokes incredible feelings and does not leave any visitor indifferent. The oceanarium is a "window" in the Red Sea, through which you can see how the life of marine life proceeds, observe them.

Underwater observatory, which is called the Coral reefs of the Red Sea, is unlike any oceanarium located in Europe. The institution is divided into specific zones, for example, a zone of sharks, turtles and rare species of animals. To get around the most interesting places, there will not be half a day.

In the oceanarium, there are about 400 varieties of sea fish, unusually beautiful corals. If you arrive here by 12 o'clock in the afternoon, you can see how the scuba diver submerges into the water and feeds the fish.

In the aquarium there are various additional services. For example, tourists can swim in the pool with sharks. At the same time, their "artificial" abode is one of the largest. The volume of the pool is 650,000 liters, so the sharks feel like a native element. If you dive into the water with a predator lacking the courage, then you can stand on the bridge, which is thrown over the pool, you can simply watch them.

In the oceanarium, a submarine observatory in the main tower is equipped. It rises to a height of 23 m, but the most interesting is hidden below. The base of the structure is the bottom of the sea, which is located about 50 m from the shore. At the bottom there are windows that are deep beneath the water. Through them, visitors admire the delightfully colorful and picturesque marine life. By the windows, motley fish swim, which sweep and disappear somewhere in the coral labyrinth.

In addition to fish, the inhabitants of the oceanarium are turtles and rays. Here you can see how the shells are opened with pearls. In the Eilat oceanarium, you can see corals, even without approaching them with scuba diving. To do this, you just need to walk a bit on a pantone 100 meters long.

In the aquarium there is a zone "Amazon hut", which contains inhabitants of the tropical forests - caimans, eels, piranhas, frogs and other animals.
