Anton Yelchin is a famous young Hollywood actor of Russian origin. Mother Irina Korina and father Viktor Yelchin are famous Soviet figure skaters. Their son was born in Russia in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) on March 11, 1989. In those years the USSR had a difficult life. Everything was in short supply, career development was also under big question. Fate did not foreshadow almost any prospects. In search of a better life, just six months after the birth of her son, the family made a serious decision to go live in the United States of America.
The fateful move
In the United States, Irina Korina, the mother of Anton Yelchin, worked as a choreographer and worked to create ice shows. Father Victor became a figure skating coach. From the age of 4, the boy and his parents attended the ice rink, but it did not bring him much pleasure. Becoming a schoolboy, he realized that he wanted to be an actor. In parallel with his studies, the boy was engaged in playing the guitar. He was very musical.
