Natural remedies for the care of the beauty and health of women are always preferable to any makeup, because they do not contain any artificial chemical components and preservatives. The proposed article considers kefir for hair and its benefits in the composition of various home-made masks.

How useful is kefir for hair?

In this lactic acid product, a large amount of calcium, protein, vitamins (groups B and E), yeast fungi, as well as useful lactobacilli. This combination of components is great for intensive moisturizing, strengthening hair and restoring their structure. For fragile hair, kefir is simply indispensable, as this product quickly glues damaged flakes, prevents the hair shaft from falling out and weakening.

Clarifying hair with kefir

If you want to give the locks a lighter shade or golden shine, you can lighten the hair a little with kefir:

  1. Lightly beat a fresh chicken egg with a whisk.
  2. Mix it with 50 ml of kefir, preferably home-made.
  3. Add in the mixture of 30 ml of cognac, fresh juice of half a lemon and the usual portion of shampoo.
  4. It is good to mix all the ingredients, you can whip.
  5. Apply mass on clean dry hair from the roots to the tips, carefully smearing each strand.
  6. Warm curls with cosmetic polyethylene or ordinary food film. Top with a towel.
  7. Leave the remedy on the hair for 7-8 hours, you can perform the procedure before bed.
  8. After the specified time, rinse the kefir with water and apply any nutritious balm to the hair.

The presented recipe assumes lightening the hair with kefir for 1-2 tones depending on the original color.

Useful mask of kefir for hair

The easiest way to repair damaged ends and strands is to apply a sour-milk product without additives for the entire length of the hair. After 15-30 minutes kefir can be washed off. Such a procedure will give shine to the curls, fill them with healthy strength and beauty, especially with regular use.

Yeast with kefir for hair:

  1. Half a glass of slightly warmed domestic fermented milk product mixed with 5 ml of honey (1 teaspoon) and 20 g of bar yeast.
  2. After the intensive fermentation process begins, it is necessary to distribute the mass over the entire surface of the scalp, gently rubbing into the roots of the hair.
  3. After half an hour, rinse with warm water without shampoo.

Applying this recipe for 10 days without a break will help to strengthen hair follicles, prevent hair loss and make strands much thicker.

Henna with kefir for hair:

  1. In a deep ceramic plate, mix the yolk of a chicken egg, the contents of a pack of henna and an incomplete glass of warm homemade kefir.
  2. Carefully mixed ingredients, apply first to the scalp, rubbing the tips of your fingers in the roots of the hair, and then distribute the entire length of the strands.
  3. The mask should not be rinsed for at least 60 minutes. To get the most lasting result, you can leave the remedy on your hair for 3-4 hours.
  4. After the allotted time, wash the hair with water at room temperature, so that the yolk does not curl. Then you need to wash your head with shampoo as usual, then apply any existing balm.

Through this procedure, the hair not only acquires a density, shine and strength, but also slightly colored. If you do not need to change the shade of hair, the usual henna should be replaced with a colorless option.

Flushing paint with hair kefir

For an early return to the original color and restore damaged by poor-quality cosmetics strands, it is recommended to gradually wash off the hair from the hair with kefir:

  1. Beat 5 tablespoons of product with yolk, add 5-10 ml of castor oil.
  2. Apply to dyed hair, keep at least 80 minutes, but can be longer.
  3. Wash off with warm water.

This procedure can be repeated daily until you return to the desired hair color, it is completely harmless.
