Kate Middleton and Prince William visited the national park Kaziranga

Yesterday, a busy day of British monarchs ended in Kaziranga, India's national tropical park. Their cultural program for the UNESCO World Heritage Site was divided into two stages: a show program with local creative groups and a meeting with organizations that protect wildlife, as well as sightseeing of the park.

Evening by the fire in Kaziranga Park

Yesterday, after lunch with the Prime Minister of India, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the national park-reserve of India Kaziranga. The time was already late, so Kate and William immediately took up their duties. This evening they were to participate in the annual festival "Bohag Bihu", which is held in honor of the celebration of the Assamese New Year. As soon as everyone was seated in the seats, the show program began. One by one, at the campfire, the families of the monarchs appeared in national Indian clothes: little girls performed dances, men showed fragments of martial arts, and women demonstrated their mastery of singing. At the end of the entertainment event, Kate and William decided to get to know the artists closer and thank them for their performance. As usual, Kate preferred the female half of the speakers, taking an interest in their outfits and decorations, and William - a man, studying the subjects with which they performed. After that, the monarchs made several photos with the participants of the festival.

At this event, Middleton chose for herself a two-layer dress made of silk and chiffon from the Anna Sui trademark from the autumn / winter collection 2015. The dress was sewn from a material with a floral print in green and blue tones. The dress was decorated with stripes sewn on it with a national ornament. The ensemble was complemented by ragged black shoes on a wedge.

A walk in the Kaziranga Park

In 2005, this national reserve celebrated its 100th anniversary. It is rich in rivers, tropical forests, a huge number of flowering plants and dozens of rare animals.

Early in the morning, Kate Middleton and Prince William, accompanied by a dozen park employees, went to the center of the reserve to meet with representatives of public organizations on wildlife conservation and rescue of endangered animals. The trip, as it was planned earlier, took place on cars. During the trip, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge saw a rare species of rhinoceros, which in 2/3 of its population lives in Kaziranga. All the way to the monarchs' quarters was accompanied by a guide who tirelessly told about the animals living in the park. Here you can see elephants, tigers, gaurs, cats-anglers, Bengal cats and many others.

After a short journey, Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived to meet with the defenders of the wild. Communication lasted a long time, and very serious issues were discussed: extinction of rare species of animals and birds, lack of financing, and many others.

For a trip to a tropical park, the Duchess of Cambridge dressed quite comfortably. She was wearing brown trousers and a white polka dot shirt. Kate's legs were light moccasins.
