It seems that the photographer of South African origin John Thackwray never sleeps in his bedroom. Do you think why? Because he spends most of his life in the bedrooms of his new friends and acquaintances scattered all over the world!
Incredibly, over the past six years, more than one thousand bedrooms from 55 countries got into the lens of the John Thackwray camera, which then inspired the photographer to create a series of pictures of "My Room Project".
Well, it all started as usual, with a merry party at a friend's in the most romantic capital of the world - Paris, and then the passion of the photographer began to gain momentum and the collection included pictures of friends from Mexico, Russia, Nepal and even Japan.
An interesting detail - the objects of the photographer are the bedrooms of people born only in the 80's and 90's. Thus, we are presented with a unique statistical photo document, because each photo can be compared and compared with the hopes, lifestyle, influence of religion, education and even the love of one particular generation!
