Currently, a brick oven is used as a structure for heating, cooking and a beautiful piece of furniture. Types of heating ovens
Depending on the function assigned to the design, several types of heating stoves are selected.
Heating. Heating furnaces made of bricks for home are highly specialized and are intended only for heating the room. They consist of a firebox, a ash pan and a chimney, they have thick walls that accumulate heat.
Heating and cooking. Heating and cooking ovens made of bricks are more popular and have their own characteristics. Their design is complemented by a hob in the form of a cast-iron plate, which is used for cooking. The plate itself is equipped with burners with removable cylindrical liners. By removing or stacking them, it is possible to determine the area of contact of the bottom of the cookware with an open fire and, accordingly, the degree of its heating.
There are special designs of small heating and cooking furnaces made of bricks that will perform certain functions. These include a brazier, which is distinguished by a simplified design with an open firebox. It is appropriate to erect such a structure in the courtyard, an oven for cooking on an open fire is designed, it is easy to place a grill for meat or a mini barbecue for a shish kebab.
Fireplaces. Fireplaces perform a heating and decorative role in the room. Similar furnaces from a brick are both bulky and small, with an open or closed furnace. In the second case, the fireplace is equipped with a decorative door with heat-resistant glass. The fireplace can be installed:
- in the middle of the wall;
- in the corner of the room;
- in the middle of the room (island).
In any case, a fireplace with an attractive artwork, complemented by arched elements, ledges, canopies is an attractive decorative element of the house.
The brick kiln is a monumental and solid building. With her help, a special warm, cozy atmosphere is created in the house. And the hearth zone becomes a favorite place of rest for household members and guests.
