Envelope with your own hands

In order to send a letter, write a note or invite to your holiday, we just need to have a paper envelope, which is easy to make by ourselves, and not to buy at the post office. Let's look at several options as it can be folded.

Master-class number 1: how to make envelopes yourself

It will take:

Progress:

  1. According to the existing template, we cut the workpiece from the paper.
  2. With the help of a ruler, we begin to bend it along the lines. First side, then bottom.
  3. Apply the adhesive in the tape (or adhesive tape) to the bottom edges of the side walls and press the bottom part.
  4. We put the letter inside, lower the upper part and glue the end of it with a sticker in the form of a heart.
  5. On the reverse side, it only remains to write down the address of the recipient.
  6. You can make a little more original envelope (only if it does not need to be sent by mail). Take the template, the main part of which is square, and the edges are wavy. Cut out the workpiece from a thick paper with notes.
  7. We bend the workpiece with a ruler, smoothing the folds well.
  8. On the upper and lower wings of the letter we mark the middle of the top and make holes with a hole punch.
  9. We apply the clerical glue on the edges of the middle wings of the envelope and press the lower one to them.
  10. Insert a thin rope or ribbon in the holes and tie it to the bow .

Any person will be pleased to take such an envelope, made by own hands.

Master class №2: manufacturing of postal envelopes with own hands

You will need:

Progress:

  1. Fold the prepared sheet in half. We arrange it with a fold from below, and then bend it from above by 2-3 cm. We trim the resulting strip from the side closer to us.
  2. We glue the sides with tape, put a letter in the envelope and seal it.
  3. On our envelope, unlike the postal envelope, there is no graph, where you can write the address of the recipient. For this we glue a label on the front and sign it.

This is the easiest way to create envelopes for letters with your own hands.

Master Class No. 3: an envelope with your own hands from the heart

It will take:

Progress:

  1. Cut out the template from the cardboard blank.
  2. We retreat from the upper edge of 11 cm and draw a horizontal line, and then another 10 cm and again draw. From the end points of the second line, we bring up vertical ones.
  3. With the help of the ruler, we extrude all the lines obtained.
  4. Bend the side pieces in the middle, and then raise to them the upper part (the one where the semicircular parts are located). Formed inside the wings spread with glue and connect.
  5. After we put the letter inside, we need to bend the last part (with an acute angle) and seal it. Our envelope made of cardboard, made by our own hands is ready.

Since the envelope is an article obtained by folding paper in a certain way, it is quite natural that it can be done in origami technique. There are several ways to make an envelope, consider one of them.

Master-class №4: Envelopes with their own hands in the technique of origami

We need only 1 sheet of paper.

Progress:

  1. Fold the sheet in half.
  2. The top layer is lowered down, folded in half, and then the upper half is lifted upward and lowered, making the middle of the fold.
  3. We understand the bottom edge to the last fold, and then again.
  4. Make lines by lowering the top edge down to the specified point and folding the bottom corners. After this, the sides are folded inwards, along the bend point of the corners.
  5. In the rectangles shown in the picture, we make a crease diagonally.
  6. We open all the folds made earlier.
  7. Using the available folds, we do this:
  8. The protruding part is lowered downwards.
  9. The sides are folded inwards, and the corners - forward and down, and then in the middle. At the same time, bend the upper edge to the angled triangles at the bottom.
  10. Fold the upper corners to the folded crease and unbend them.
  11. Fold the top part, as shown in the picture.
  12. We fill the middle corner in the middle, and our envelope is completely ready. Inside, you can put anything - a letter, an invitation or an author's card, made in the technique of scrapbooking .
