A hybrid of carrots "Canada F1" from the Shantane variety was bred. Its advantages are high yield and excellent taste qualities of root crops. It is part of the group of late-ripening varieties, since on average, about 130 days should pass before ripening from emergence of sprouts.

The deciduous rosette of the bush is semi-sparse, dark green in color. Root crop grows long enough (up to 23 cm) and in diameter reaches 5 cm. Their average weight is 140-170 g, although under good conditions it can be grown up to 500 g. Fruits usually have a conical shape with a rounded end. The flesh and core of them are bright orange and very tasty, juicy, sweet. Carrots of this species are characterized by a high content of carotene (about 21.0 mg per 100 g).

This variety, unlike others, can be grown on heavy (clay) soils, where most of the carrot species can not grow. It is suitable for a site where there used to be cabbage , tomatoes, cucumbers, onions or early potatoes.
