Since 2001, when the museum was founded in the capital of Bhutan Thimphu , an impressive collection of Bhutanese textile products was assembled. Each of them is marked with a tag with the name of the master and the price - many of them are made by the masters of the museum for the purpose of selling, because the textiles are one of the most popular souvenirs from Bhutan .

And in the near future, the museum management in conjunction with the National Commission for Culture plans to hold a textile festival.
