- a knife to open the package;
- drill or perforator, which is selected depending on the material of the walls;
- a drill of a suitable size;
- level, pencil for marking the mount;
- fastening: dowels, screws;
- screwdriver to tighten the fasteners.
If you bought a cornice in a specialized store, then you can immediately buy and all the necessary fixtures. But keep in mind the fact that all this can already be included in the package.
To make the correct installation, the cornice should first be attached to the bathroom below, and not to the place where it will hang. Mark the points to which the cornice is supposed to be fastened. Laying the structure aside, lift these points with a ruler or level at 1600 mm above the bathroom. Such a height will allow the curtain to be found on the sides and prevent water splashing.
Further it is necessary to mark out a place for drilling. To do this, attach the mounting bracket to the point marked by you, so that it is in the center of the bracket. Mark all holes that are on the mount, points on the wall. Drill, insert the plug and attach the brackets with screws. The last stage of the installation is the insertion of the cornice tube and the tightening of the clamping screws of the structure. Once properly installed, the corner curtain rail is ready for use.
