Tinsulayt or hollofayer - which is better?

The development of modern industry has made it possible to develop several new and high-tech types of insulation for winter outerwear , so many now have a question of choosing the most suitable option. Very similar in their properties tinsulate and holofiber, but what is better?

Tinsulate or HoloFiber - general characteristics

Tinsulate was originally developed and patented as a heater for the spacesuits of American astronauts. His invention was in the 70's. XX century. Now, in addition to the US, other countries are also producing and using it for sewing warm clothes. It is a polymeric material that consists of the smallest (many times thinner than a human hair) hairs between which voids are formed, filled with air. They create a heat-saving effect.

Hollofiber was developed in South Africa, but a patent for its production technology was obtained in Russia. It is also a heater made of polymers. Its difference from tinsulite in the structure of fibers - they have a spiral shape.

In general, many believe that hollofayber and tinsulate are new names of the usual sintepon, and companies use them only in order to distinguish their goods from a series of similar ones. Part of it is true, the sintepon, its properties and composition served as a starting point in research, but also tinsulate and holofiber are much more high-tech materials that better retain heat and are easier to operate.

Common for both materials are excellent heat-saving properties, they are almost equal to those of natural fluff, which is still considered the best insulation. Tinsulate and holofayber are light enough, the materials quickly restore their shape when compressed, which means that the outer clothing of them will retain their original appearance for a long time. Such materials are hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly, are not afraid of the effects of water and do not absorb it.

Even a long coat on holofaybere or tinsulite will last you long enough, since it can be washed in a typewriter, it will not lose its shape and will not crumble much.

Differences between hollofiber and tisulite

In fact, the differences between these two heaters are not so obvious. For example, it is difficult to say what is warmer: holofayber or tinsulate. They perfectly keep the temperature around the body and will not freeze even in the coldest of temperatures.

To understand how to distinguish hollofayber from tinsulate, you need to look at their appearance or the appearance of the sewn of them things. Hollofayber more voluminous than tinsulate, and hence, down jackets, jackets or children's things from it will be more voluminous. A sufficient layer of tinsulite, which will provide reliable protection against frost and wind, is only 3-4 mm. The primary use of this or that material is also connected with this. Tinsulate is most often chosen for tailoring sportswear for winter sports or long walks, when it is important not only how well the thing keeps heat, but also how freely it allows to move. Outerwear of tinsuleith can have a more stitched silhouette and beautifully emphasize the figure. If we are talking about holofaybere, then it is made of a large number of models of upper winter clothing for everyday wear.

The advantage of the holofiber is its price. This material is about 4-5 times cheaper than tinsulate. Accordingly, and a thing performed with the use of this heater, will cost several times cheaper. Outerwear on holofaybere - a simple way to get quality and warm winter things and at the same time save your budget.
