Star drug addicts: how they changed after they started taking drugs

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was one of the most outstanding singers in the history of world music, but, unfortunately, because of addiction to drugs, her stellar life and fame were interrupted quite early.

Whitney began to use marijuana and cocaine in the mid-90s and repeatedly went to treatment in specialized clinics, but the efforts of the doctors were in vain: the singer never got rid of addiction.

On February 11, 2012, she was found dead in her hotel room. The examination found out that the star was drowning in the bathroom; and in her blood were found marijuana and cocaine ... According to the expert, the nasal septum of Whitney was literally "leaky" from the constant use of fatal powder.

Lindsey Lohan

Lindsay Lohan could become one of Hollywood's most successful actresses. At the age of 20 she had tremendous beauty, excellent working capacity and remarkable talent. Unfortunately, all brilliant prospects were crossed out by narcotic drugs and alcohol, to which Lindsay was addicted at the very peak of her popularity.

The actress began to disregard the work, repeatedly got into an accident and even several times was caught on attempts at theft. Harmful habits are not slow to affect and her appearance: now looks 10 years older. Because of neglected appearance and non-mandatory, she was practically no longer invited to take pictures.

Charlie Sheen

For the first time Charlie Sheen got into a rehabilitation clinic in 1990 and since then has become a frequent guest there. Unfortunately, he still has problems with drugs and alcohol.

Britney Spears

Britney Spears became very famous very early and probably could not stand the test of fame. In 2007, after a heavy divorce case with Kevin Federline, the star rushed into all serious. Throughout the year, the media reported on her inadequate actions associated with taking drugs and alcohol. Britney shaved nalyso, arranged wild hysterics and even spent some time in a psychiatric hospital.

Amanda Bynes

In 2011, 27-year-old Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning. Her emaciated body could not cope with three bottles of vodka, which the star drank in her apartment.

Gia Karanji

Gia Karandzhi was one of the very first supermodels. At 17, she came to New York, where her dizzying career began. Already after the first success in the modeling business, Gia started attending nightclubs where she gradually "sat down" on drugs: first it was cocaine, and then heroin.

Soon the photographers began to notice the changes in Gia's behavior, she became very impulsive, late for shooting, rolled up tantrums, and sometimes even completely fell asleep in front of the camera. To hide the traces of injections on her hands, photos had to be seriously processed.

In the end, all photographers refused to work with her, and Gia was forced to live on unemployment benefits. At the same time, her need for drugs increased, and money for new doses was sorely lacking, and this forced the former supermodel to engage in prostitution. In 1986, Gia was diagnosed with AIDS, and soon she died. Her body was so disfigured by illness that the 26-year-old woman had to be buried in a closed coffin.
