Princess of Saudi Arabia Dina appointed chief editor of Vogue Arabia

Dina Abdulaziz, the wife of the son of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, refutes the myth that all Arab women should wear a veil. For Dina has long been entrenched the status of not just a secular lioness, and style icons. It can be seen in the first row of a fashion show strolling through the streets of European cities in the outfits of the latest collections of the most sought-after brands and endlessly discussing fashion novelties. Such a passion for fashion played a key role in choosing a lifestyle and, as it became clear today, in her profession.

From blogger to editors

Everyone knows that the princess of Saudi Arabia has long been writing about fashion trends in her microblog. In addition, she leads her column in Style.com and communicates with many famous designers. When Conde Nast's publishing house started to question the need to enter the Arabic market with the glossy Vogue, everyone understood that it would not be easy to choose a candidate for the post of editor-in-chief. It was then that the company's management came up with the idea to offer this post to Dine Abdulaziz. But then no one could have foreseen that the princess would almost immediately agree. In her interview with the Financial Times, Dean commented on her appointment:

"250 million people live in Arab countries. These people have never had such a wonderful and necessary magazine as Vogue. It's time to break stereotypes. "

The magazine will soon appear in stores

The management of the publishing house Condé Nast decided that the gloss of Vogue Arabia will first be released in the electronic version. It can already be seen starting from September this year. But the print version of the inhabitants of the Arab world will be found on the shelves a little later - in the spring of 2017. According to the press release of Condé Nast, which it published on its website, readers will be able to read 11 Vogue Arabia numbers every year.
