This trip was organized in order to launch two projects aimed at attracting young people to sailing. To do this, Kate visited the headquarters of the Foundation 1851 Trust, talking there with the future sailors and the leadership of the organization. In addition, the Duchess of Cambridge has opened a new educational center in Portsmouth, called the Tech Deck Education Center.
