How to make a wreath of leaves?

The wreath is the oldest amulet that people have created with their own hands since the days of ancient Persia. Once upon a time wreaths from laurel leaves were a kind of award of the champions of the first Olympic Games, and "magic" wreaths of various herbs and flowers adorned the heads of unmarried girls and were used in wedding ceremonies. All this was long ago and the magical significance of the wreaths went into oblivion. However, even today, walking in the autumn park, it is difficult to overcome the temptation to weave a multi-colored wreath with our own hands, which will not only be an excellent decoration on the head, but also an original element of decor for the house.

How to make an ordinary wreath of leaves, probably every child knows, you just need to braid one petio after another, just like a wreath of dandelions. Therefore, we will not dwell on this, but show you how to weave a wreath of maple leaves in the form of beautiful roses.

Autumn wreath at the head: master class

The first thing we need to do is to prepare as many of those roses as possible. To do this, we go to the park and collect a "bouquet" of beautiful maple leaves. So:

  1. One maple leaf is folded twice across the central vein so that the front side is outside. And fold the folded leaf into a tight roll.
  2. We take the second maple leaf and apply a ready-made "roll" to its front side. We fold the sheet in half so that the edge of the bend is above the core by approximately one centimeter. Now the protruding edge of the second sheet is bent backwards, but the inflection is not smoothed.
  3. We wrap the sheet around the core.
  4. We take the third sheet and repeat the same operation, only from the opposite side of the previous sheet.
  5. We repeat this operation until we have a beautiful bud. At the end we fix the rose with threads.
  6. We begin to collect a wreath. To do this, we need: a lot of roses, thread and a small piece of wire.
  7. From the wire we twist a circle of the required diameter (you can first make a measurement of the head). Next, several ready-made roses are bent at right angles and tied together. We make several such blanks.
  8. Begin to tie to the circle of roses. Try to tie rosettes pretty close to each other, so that they can then be arranged in staggered order.
  9. We complement the wreath with two rows of rosettes along the outer and inner edges. And now, our wreath of autumn leaves is ready!
  10. As you can see, wreaths on the head from the weave leaves are not at all difficult, the main desire and a little patience! And when spring comes, you can weave beautiful wreaths of dandelions !
