Help: women turn buses into homes for homeless people

With the onset of cold weather, it's time to think about a warm home and help those who desperately need a roof over their heads.

Two women from the UK decided to take the initiative and help the needy in an interesting way: to create a "bus accommodation on wheels". And they implemented their project, and the community supported their idea.

Sammy Barcroft and Joanne Vines were inspired by the experiences of other European cities and charities, which in turn turned old, unnecessary cars into mobile shelters for the homeless. By a lucky coincidence, they managed to pick up a double-decker bus from the landfill, but for its repair needed funds and labor. For 8 months, 75 people fully equipped the bus with bunk beds, a kitchenette and a living room, spending about $ 8,000 on it. According to the final estimates, about 33,000 dollars were spent on the restoration.
